Guest Post: Lightroom Quick Tip from Kevin Kubota
A great shortcut from Kevin…
If you use Lightroom, like I do, then you really owe it to yourself to learn the shortcuts. Lightroom is full of time-saving shortcuts and using them is an essential part of any workflow system. Work smarter, not harder, as they say. When I’m editing my images, I use the Pick [P] and Rejected [X] keys on my keyboard to mark an image as a keeper or a loser.
If I change my mind, I just type [U] on the keyboard for UN-mark. Then I can use the arrow keys to move to the next image and mark away…but wait! There’s a faster way: hold down your SHIFT key while typing [P] or [X] and the image will be marked and you’ll automatically jump to the next image without having to manually advance. If you want this feature to stay active, just turn on your CAPS LOCK and auto-advance will be the default behavior until you turn off caps lock. Try it, it’s a much faster way to edit!
