Quick Tip: Music for Your Slide Shows, Videos and Presentations
I’m always amazed at photographers who pay no attention to violating copyright laws when it comes to soundtracks for their slide shows, CDs and DVDs, but then are the first to complain when they anticipate a violation in the use of their own images. Come on guys, in this day and age, you need great original sounding music and if there’s any group of professionals out there who should be mindful of royalty issues it’s the professional photographic market, especially when there’s such an amazing solution to the challenge.
At the risk of sounding like an infommercial, you need to take a look at Triple Scoop Music - the only thing more impressive than the selection of royalty free music they offer is the enthusiasm of their staff. This is great stuff with music to absolutely fit every possible mood you want to convey.
There’s a reason why Joe Buissink, Bambi Cantrell, Jerry Ghionis, Kevin Kubota, Denis Reggie and Marcus Bell, just to name a few, all make Triple Scoop their number one choice.
Check it out – every slide show you create is an original – shouldn’t the sound track you use be just as original?

Thank you! This should be required reading by ALL photographers. I haven’t used Triple Scoop, but do use another royalty-free music site for all my slideshows, web site needs. Thanks, Skip!

Thanks for your comment. The thing is that there’s so much available and if we, as photographers, expect the world to support our rights, then we better make sure we’re supporting everybody else’s!
