We’ve got Eddie Tapp to thank for this morning’s smile with a little random “Blog Talk”…ya gotta love this guy!
Yes, I can’t hold it any longer… I admit it… I slept with her… Okay… it feels great to get that off my back… if there’s one thing I hate it’s having to look over my shoulder to see a mustard seed I planted mature and coming after me…

It was ‘69… I was in my teens still (yeah, I can say that) and I had been playing in a band for years, saving my money. By now I was at Massey Jr College (later became the Art Institute of Atlanta) studying fashion photography and then on February 25, 1969, it happened to me. I feel deeply in love and for the next months slept every night with her.

She was a beautiful black skin, wearing chrome linings with a totally awesome pop up view… I didn’t mind one bit that it took every penny I had to get her to sleep with me… I actually walked miles, took buses to get to her and bring her home because my car was in the shop… and the truth is… she was with me until the mid 80’s when she moved onto another life style… I wonder where she is today… I sure do miss her… ummmm…

Learn from many but study from few”… “When you bring tears to their eyes, they pay more”, These are not the exact words but pretty close to something Monte Zucker would say. For those of you who didn’t know Monte… he was one of the most passionate photographers you could ever meet, both as a photographer and as an educator…

Learn at least one something or find motivation from every seminar, workshop, presentation, slide show you watch. Every single one of us has something to share. While learning knowledge from every aspect of imaging you’ll find that all of the senses are connected and in each presentation the instructor has something esoterically to share… by me

“Little do we know what little do we know.”… Jane Connor Ziser, one of my favorite quotes and one that I quote frequently…
It always amazes me when I teach a seminar and ask how many photographers do not calibrate their displays. The monitor is the only way we communicate visually with our livelihood prior to printing…

Hey, what’s in your wallet…? Make someone smile today… I guess by now you’ve realized this is what I call “blog talk”… not making much sense but it was fun to write… cheers…
