Funny, before I dropped by to see what was posted today I was thinking that the wonderful thing about art and photography is there is always more!

The compelling thing about creative people is their addiction to learning, becoming better and sharing knowledge. In a speech on creativity John Cleese said “I want to be as well-informed as I can possibly be before I die”. I had the good fortune to meet him years ago, he said to me "I'm not a naturally funny person" and yet his creativity has made him renown worldwide for being just that. Artists should embrace the new because it is inevitable that it will arrive. Just as it is inevitable that someone will create something beautiful with it. Look at HDR! Even if we have grown at the learning curve, we all lust for the powerful new tools the next version brings be it hardware or software. I say bring it on.

Oh yes, and welcome to twitter!
