Happy New Year!
In a few hours 2009 will be history and a whole new year will open for all of us. For me, as well as for many of you, this was definitely a year of change. I have one very important thought I want to express to wrap up 2009…there are not enough words or blogs to express my appreciation to so many of you who have been part of my life this year. The people I want to thank is far too long to list, but each of you know who you are.
And then there are all my facebook friends, Twitter followers, new friends from Skip’s Summer School, sponsors and manufacturers who are providing incredible services and products - you’ve all played a role in my life this year.
So, to old friends who were there to support me and to new friends who came to my rescue, especially every time I had a technical challenge blogging, moving files, setting up Twitter (who am I kidding? anything to do with new technology!) all too often…thank you! Thank you for sharing your passion for this wonderful industry, your dedication to quality in imaging and most important of all your trust, enthusiasm and motivation to keep making professional photography stronger. You’re an amazing group of people and as I’ve said at least three times previously in other blogs…
The best part of this industry has nothing to do with photography, but the friendships that come out of our common love for the craft!
Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!
Skip (and Molly too)

Well said. Your network will always move you faster, farther, and grow you personally than technology alone will or could ever do.
