…and a second Jill-e Designed Bag coming up!
I’m always amazed at the comments that come out of what I think is sometimes a non-controversial blog, this one on the importance of quality from yesterday. Well, in keeping with the same theme and a product of quality – at the risk of sounding like an infomercial, I’m nuts about Jill-e bags. Then again, I’m a big fan of Jill’s and her entire crew.
Here’s one of those small world stories…At WPPI a couple of years ago, Jill said to me, “Skip, you don’t remember me do you?” She reminded me that she used to be at Kodak. At least 8 years ago she was on a project working with Nick Vedros and we all had dinner together in Santa Monica. Honest, there are so many times I wish I could get back those brain cells I lost at a Richie Havens concert in the 70’s…and I don’t care if I’m dating myself! It was a great concert!
So, quality products, quality people like Jill – put them together and you have a men’s camera bag that I continue to covet! In the mean time – no matter what criticism I get, I will not accept that quality doesn’t trump mediocrity! Oh yeah, and Richie Havens can still belt out a song!
